• Bischofsheim (Mainspitze) is a town of 13,000 residents in Hesse, Germany on the left (south) bank of the Main river, not far from the confluence with the Rhine. A rail junction (crossing of the line from Mainz to Frankfurt with the line from Wiesbaden to Darmstadt) and Autobahn junction (A60 and A671) supplement the river transportation possibilities.
