Summary

• There are many language classes taught which provide a sound basis for mastery of the Cherokee Language, however, most modern courses do not teach common Cherokee Slang expressions which are unique to the culture and have evolved as local dialects within Cherokee communities across the United States. This article preserves some of the jewels of the Cherokee Language not normally heard or spoken outside of Cherokee Communities.
