Identity Caucus

Summary

• An Identity Caucus is an officially "accredited" organizational unit of the Green Party of the United States that is designed to provide "historically underrepresented minorities" with a formal vehicle for ensuring that their concerns and issues are heard by Green Party's national organization. Note: some state and local Green Party organizations also have "identity caucuses", which serve the essentially same purpose, but may be organized differently and have a different level of formal institutional recognition.
