President Adar

Summary

• In the original 1978 science fiction movie Battlestar Galactica, President Adar (played by Lew Ayres) was the last elected President of the Quorum of the Twelve. He fatally ordered the Colonial fleet not to assume a defensive posture as they were ambushed by a horde of 1000 Cylon raiders.
